Needing to breathe some fresh air, and to give my brain a workout, I headed to the beach with my SONY A7 and an old film era 135mm / f2.8 lens to do some manual focusing. I didn’t really have a formal agenda, only go and see if I could create a story in a couple hours.

The reason I took an old manual focus lens is to force myself to slow down. It’s all too easy to shoot and rely on the camera too much, so by using the old lens, I was forced to slow down and be more involved in making the images, and story.
